Bobby Brown. My Prerogative

I like this jam. It's good. Everybody should. It's not deep or anything. It just makes you get up and move that ass. I'm not doing that right now but I have in the past and prolly will in the future. Bobby used to be real good. Every Montell Jordan out there owes a debt to Mr. Brown. That's weird. I was just watching A Montell Jordan video the other day. Got Montell on the mind.

Do you think that any of the R&B cats that came after Montell Jordan owe him a debt? Dudes like, IDK, Genuwine or Dru Down? I wonder. Like, do they look at Montell and be like, "Man, you used to be the shit back in the day' Maybe sometimes but not as often as would happen to Bobby if he was up in the mix and not on Celebrity Fit Club or whatever it is.

That's my point, what I was thinking about as I listened to the song. Bobby is all messed up and fat and everything nowadays and if you listen to the tune you can totally tell it's going to happen. His friends had come to him and mentioned that he might be boozing and whoring a bit too much and what was Bobby's response? He went home and wrote My Prerogative. A whole song about how he can do whatever he wants and act a fool as much as he feels. It's his prerogative. I guess it is but you can look and see where it got him, Celebrity Fit Club. That totally sucks. Anyway, I was just thinking about Bobby a bit here. No big deal.
