I don't follow the current Marvel storylines as well as I should but I guess what's going on is that Peter Parker died in the Ultimate Spiderman comic. That's a different Spiderman then the one in the traditional universe. The Ultimate line is a reboot of the Marvel history. Like they started all over again and modernized the characters. It's good, a lot better then it sounds by my description. Not that I thought that my description was bad or anything but to me the whole reboot things sounds like a marketing scam which it kind of is but the stories are good and frankly for the most part I prefer the Ultimate universe. It's less complicated, in a good way.

Anyhow, Peter Parker got killed and This other kid picked up the mantle of Spiderman, not just any plain old white American kid but instead it was a mixed race kid! Du-Dum! To celebrate the crowning the new Spidey Art Asylum jumped on the band wagon quick and is all set to poop out a new Spidey Minimate. It's going to be a Toys R Us exclusive and he is fixing to come packed with another Ultimate Universe character, a villain for sure. That's cool. I wonder who though? I think I'd like to see The Vulture. I don't think that there has been a Minimate of him yet and it's always cool to add a new character to the set.
